The On-Boarding Process, an Easy Streamline

A Streamlined Onboarding Process 5/9/24

We believe the path to financial well-being should be clear and straightforward. That's why our onboarding process is designed to be efficient and informative. Here's what you can expect:

  1. Initial Contact: Reach out to us through our website or by phone/text 508-221-7076. We will be happy to answer your questions and schedule a complimentary consultation.

  2. Discovery Meeting & Financial Assessment: During this no-pressure consultation, we'll get to know you, your financial goals, and your current financial standing. This is your opportunity to share your aspirations, concerns, and risk tolerance. The advisor will explain our investment philosophy and discuss how our services can benefit you. We'll also request some basic financial information, such as assets, liabilities, income, and investment statements, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your situation.

  3. Personalized Investment Plan: Based on the insights gleaned from the discovery meeting and your financial assessment, an advisor will craft a customized investment plan tailored to your unique needs. This plan will outline the asset allocation, investment strategies, which types of accounts to open, and risk management techniques employed to achieve your objectives.

  4. Ongoing Communication: Transparency and communication are paramount at Starboard Wealth Management. We'll keep you informed of portfolio performance, and any adjustments made to your plan. Meetings can be scheduled to discuss your progress and address any questions you may have.

Focus on Finding an Advisor with Low Fees who is a fiduciary: At Starboard, we believe that everyone deserves access to professional financial guidance from a fiduciary, regardless of their wealth level. That's why Starboard offers a transparent fee structure with minimal costs. Our industry low fees range from 0.4% to 0.6% as a percentage of assets under management annually, ensuring our interests are aligned with yours. The better your portfolio performs, the more we benefit alongside you. We'll discuss the fee structure in detail during the consultation. You will be encouraged to shop around to other Registered Investment Advisors to discover how high their fees are relative to Starboard Wealth.

Before your Discovery Meeting and Financial Assessment, consider the following:

1.  Gather Your Financial Information: Having a clear picture of your current financial situation is crucial. Collect documents such as bank statements, retirement account statements, and investment summaries.

2.  Identify Your Goals: What do you envision for your financial future? Do you have a retirement target date or a specific financial goal like a child's education? Having clear goals will guide the development of your investment plan.

3.  Do Your Research: Learn about different investment options. While we'll be here to guide you, some foundational knowledge can be empowering.
